Standig for what you believe in

Sometimes in life you might forget what it is all about.
This mostly is caused by a lot of doubt.

It is then we must remember to feel what's in our heart.
Because what lives in there, we must unify with and not put it apart.

Pain and happiness are the two sides of life. So is Joy and sadness.
You can't know light, without darkness. And you cannot know darkness without light.

No matter how long a night, day will always come.
That's what they say, but this is not everyday for everyone.

What if this was your last day? What if the coming few hours were your last?

I would want to share what's on my mind and in my heart. I am grateful my family is doing well.
I don't feel like I leave somthing unfinished, because life is a constantly unfolding process.

I have felt profound places within myself. I have learnt about Ubuntu and understand the essence of being human.

My learning point now is focus on the essence in my actions, thoughts and feelings.

What is your learning point?

Check out the Dash.

Waka Waka Inspiration

You're a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up
And dust yourself off
And back in the saddle

You're on the frontline
Everyone's watching
You know it's serious
We're getting closer
This isnt over

The pressure is on
You feel it
But you've got it all
Believe it

When you fall get up
Oh oh...
And if you fall get up
Oh oh...

Tsamina mina
Zangalewa
Cuz this is Africa

Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka Waka eh eh

Tsamina mina zangalewa
Anawa aa
This time for Africa

Listen to your god
This is our motto
Your time to shine
Dont wait in line
Y vamos por Todo

People are raising
Go on and feed them
Their Expectations
This is your moment
No hesitations

Today's your day
I feel it
You paved the way
Believe it

If you get down
Get up Oh oh...
When you get down
Get up eh eh...

Tsamina mina zangalewa

This time for Africa

Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka Waka eh eh

Tsamina mina zangalewa

Community of Talents

Today I decided to continue blogging, due to the insight that waiting till the perfect moment actually stops/delays it from arriving.

We don;t run before we learn to walk. My process of growth is so inspiring to myself, that I need to get it out of my system. Hopefully it can be inspring to more people caught up in their personal development.

Personal development comes on different levels, but the ultimate goal is for you to feel you are where you need to be and you will get to where you want to be emotionally. How do you want to feel on a daily basis. And only then can you think are the things in my life contributing to that or not.

II you believe in a God, Universe, Higher Power, Coincidence, it is beautiful and heartwarming to know you're connected and it is working its way through you.

Today I attended a conference called 'Community Of Talents' together we were asked to share creativity and ideas for the new governement on the topic 'Innovation'.

I was just thrilled to see how this innovation was not about industrial technology, but social innovation, self-development, self-realisation, talent development.

Based on what I believe: Change your thoughts and you change your life. It is by continue to inspire each other about the possibility to create a new, better, connected world that it will actually happen.

As after my visit to One Young World earlier this year in London, I realised we are with so many putting our energy in for a self-empowered society. A caring economy, where human dignity lies at the centre of everything.

If you feel you have a gift, if you feel you have a power, if you feel you have a talent, if you feel you have something to learn, do it, Say it, try it, think it over, share it.

With each step we get closer to a harmonious world, where people can rely on each other to grow. Like a Soccer team we work together to score and it is ok that we have opponents, that is only to keep the dynamic going. In the end we all want the same, play and have fun and grow in our abilities.

So today I want to share to videos that for me, communicate the lyrics my heart feels right now.

Hope it can inspire you to a small action which can lead to a great deed eventually. And listen to Shakira if hesitation comes up, it can lead to that action. Like posting a blog just to share your thoughts with your community and your source of inspiration.

Desmond Tutu inspired me to keep on Being Idealistic

From One Young World.com By Marian Salzman, including my personal thoughts off the moment itself.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, whose name is synonymous with overturning apartheid in South Africa, told the delegates, “I want to salute you, for you are a fantastic bunch of human beings.” He went on to say: “Young people are such a fantastic group of people who dream dreams, dreams of a world that is without war. You dream dreams and you say, ‘Let us make poverty history.’… I was in Copenhagen, and most of the people there who were demonstrating, who were passionate, were young people. A hundred thousand young people went out on the streets of Copenhagen.”

Then he offered a theological context for his arguments: “God has been using young people–Joseph, David kills Goliath, Francis of Assisi. And God is using youth to say to us oldies, ‘Hey, when are you going to get it into your head? Just look at how much you’re spending on guns.’… We oldies, how many wars have we started? They were not started by young people. And most of those who start the wars, will you find them on the front line? No, no, no. They’re sitting comfortably at home and watching other people’s children die.

“So I come to you and say, ‘Hey, just go on being idealistic. Just go on dreaming that we are going to have a different kind of world.’ When we come back…we may be ghosts…and look at the world, we’ll say, ‘There’s no longer any poverty. There’s no longer any hunger. There’s no longer any war.’ You are going to make this a beautiful, beautiful world. I look around and I can see Nobel Peace laureates in here.”

This makes me never doubt again that I have a mission to keep on fighting for the greater good. Desmond Tutu takes the time to speak to young leaders, such as myself to make sure we understand we can make a difference. Who am I to disagree?

I believe in the different kind of world, I believe I am a changemaker.

What about you?
